To lessen damage from drops and rough use on the job site, an impact resistant protective layer provides 15% more shock absorption and a longer battery life than previous models. It has a 5 Ah capacity when used with 18V tools and 2.5 Ah capacity when used with 36V tools and features a battery fuel gauge for user convenience. The innovative design of this MultiVolt battery helps prevent overheating when pushed to the limit, and works at temperatures as low as 14 degrees F (-10 degrees C).
